And then there were 2!

Or should I say and then there was 4? Or 6, if you count the dogs? Regardless of how you count our family is now complete! It's really nice to have everyone home and feel whole. Callie came home today from staying at Grandma and Grandpas and was excited to spend time with her baby brother. She is slightly confused as she calls him Fordy more than half the time but I can't blame her. It took us long enough to get her to say Ford and they are both babies. She'll catch on in a few days.
Overall she is doing well being a big sister. She means well most of the time but is overly excited, too rough and doesn't pay attention very well. My biggest concerns are her trying to climb the pack n play to see him or touch him and her attempting to rock the rocker with him in it. She rocks it like its a roller coaster!
Otherwise she has tried to feed him pretend milk, hold him, read to him, help change him. I try to pick out all the things she can help with and let her do them. So get a new diaper, throw away the dirty one, pick out his clothes, get a blanket, throw dirty clothes in the wash, push the stroller, sing him a song, and so on.
She did pretty well although there were a few meltdowns, crying fits and one incident were she hit him in the head and had to be sat down and talked to about hitting. But we made it through the first whole day with both kids. We was the key word as I can't imagine doing half of it by myself.
Diego was not the best sleeper last night as I think his belly hurt and he kept pooping. I was so exhausted I let him sleep with me, but then spent the day ensuring he learned to sleep by himself. He slept almost all day except feedings and diaper changes. He slept by himself in the pack n play and for a bit in the rocker, but very little while he was being held. Hopefully I'm setting myself up for him to sleep in his own crib at night. After an entire day sleeping though we might have a rather wakeful night.
