Sticking out my tongue

GG taught Callie how to stick out her tongue. If you show her a few times she will try to do it back. She stares intently at you all interested and then finally opens her mouth and wiggles her tongue part way out. Tonight I was able to capture this on my phone. Mommy thinks she is so smart!

Tonight we also sang songs and talked about all the animal noises to keep her occupied and distracted when she gets in her gremlin nighttime crying. She probably just thinks I am crazy as she states at me.
And lastly we read our first book tonight. Patti and Frank sent her a very cute book about bedtime and bears last week so we thought it was fitting to try this one to go to bed. She listened to he whole story and looked at the pages. She even tried to touch the pages with her hands. She barely fussed through the whole story. Guess we will be reading books every night as part of our routine to go to bed.

Hopefully we go to bed really soon because we have to be up early for mommy's first day back to work.
