Today was my first day back to work. It wasn't too bad but it takes a long time to get ready in the morning even when I packed in advance. I had to feed, burp, put her back to sleep, pump, wash, pack milk for the day and pack pump parts clean, shower, eat, pack lunch, and the dogs, phew! I didn't even have to drop her off because grandma came to pick her up to help me out. I got to work and realized I forgot to give her the morning dose of her medicine. What a terrible mommy!
Uncle Christian came to the rescue and drove to our house to get it for her. She had a pretty good day with grandma which was expected.
BUT working 10 hrs means I get home just in time for naughty time. 7-11, sometimes even later she screams for no good reason and it's nearly impossible to soothe her. What do you know today was no different, screaming by 7:15 and no end in sight yet at 10:45. It kinda stinks to work the hours when she is happy and enjoyable and be home with her only when she screams like a gremlin. Not to mention I need to be awake by 5 am again tomorrow morning to do it all over again. Yuck! When I start dropping her off later this week I'll have to be up a little after 4 am to St to work by 7! Ugh!!
The dr thought she would outgrow this nighttime screaming around 6-8 weeks, we are impatiently waiting for this. Week 6 has come and gone but it's not really any better.
Sorry no photos today because it was just to crazy busy and if I did take one she would have been screaming. Hoping it's bedtime really really soon!
