Happy belated birthday Juan

i missed photos the first time around but don't worry we had a second birthday!

The music wall

For months I've been talking about making a music wall but haven't gotten around to it. It's been sitting all the stuff ready to go. GiJu bought the lollipop drum and the chimes xylophone. The rest came out of my cupboard, old pans, strainers, lids.
It's awfully fun but I'm sure the neighbors won't like it. I'll limit music time to midday hours ;)

While Ford was here we got to have a lot of fun including a swim. And yes that's Diego wearing his batsman cape. It's become a new favorite this week.

Monkeys see the monkeys

i took my monkeys to see the monkeys at the zoo today. The most entertaining ones were the orangatangs (how do you even spell that?) the baby one was adorable and kept swinging all crazy which the kids loved.
Turns out I should check the weather as it was cold and cloudy and I dressed the kids for warm and sunny. They survived.
Callie didn't want to be in any photos and was just difficult most of today. 8 think she is just over tired. It all catches up with her eventually.

Halloween Carnival

Somehow I managed to get zero photos at Juans birthday yesterday! 8i can't even believe it. Yikes!

But today I got some photos at the Halloween Carnival at Dimitris school. This is the second time we've done this Carnival and it's serious. It caters to elementary age but they even have a whole section for littler kids. Callie rocks the games that have throwing. She was a champ and won at ping pong in water cups, knock the cat off the fence, and spider toss.

This year the kids wanted to brave the haunted hallway aka haunted house. Bad idea... I thought it would be tame because it's an elementary school but nope it was pretty darn scary. I was yelling out two very small scared kids coming through take it easy but many of the kids were still quite aggressive in their scare tactics. Others took off their masks and showed them it was ok just pretend which was great but they were super scared. We shall see if nightmares come tonight.

Spidey

Diegos loving his Spider-Man hoodie he got last Christmas. It was too big but now he's grown into it and loves Spidey more than ever. He cried because I wouldn't let him wear it robbed. Oh boy..

First chapter book, Samantha times 3

Neighborhood toys

Just another stroll around the block. We found this scoot toy at a neighbors with a free sign. I took it for work as I love these for the toddlers but Diego has taken a liking to it and doesn't want me to take it yet. So I'm letting him ride it for a few days..
