Happy St Patricks Day

Callie got a st Patrick's day tiara from PaPa. How cute is she? Princess Callie she said.

Sunday Beach Day

Yesterday I was so tired I fell asleep on the couch without posting our beach photos! I can't share them all as some are for a special project I am still working on but I will share a few. It was a warm day but nice and breezy at the beach. Callie fell in the water face first which scared her a bit and slowed her down from running straight into the water. It was probably a good thing as she is usually fearless. She also finally sat in the sand and dug and built a castle. Sometimes she is so irritated by the sand she wants to be in the water or in her chair the entire time. This was the first time she would actually sit in the sand and play. We built castles and then she destroyed them for fun. I don't have a maternity bathing suit and was planning to keep my dress on but it was too tough with the water and sand and so I said oh well and just went for it. These will probably be the only bare belly photos you will ever see.

Lemon trees

Today was a busy day. In the morning we went to Hone Depot to get some new succulents for our front yard between the sidewalk and the street. Our yard is currently under major construction with a total overhaul and we decided not to put grass back in this area. After that we went to a fruit tree farm in Bonita to get a new lemon tree. Callie always wants to pick everyone else's fruit trees so I figured it was time to get one of our own. Since her a route thing is lemons in her water I picked lemon tree as what we were looking for. For days Callie kept talking about going to the farm for lemon tree. It was a maze of fruit trees at the place. We asked for help to can find the lemon trees. The nice guy who worked there let Callie pick fruit and showed her different trees. She ate kumquats, strawberry guava and some kind of mandarin orange. We also saw pluots and cherries but they weren't ready to eat yet. We also bought a Mexican line tree for Grandmas house and we dropped it off on the way home.
After nap time we watered our new plants that daddy had planted already then packed up and went to ikea... Again!
This time I needed a closet organizer, a small bookshelf, a rug and a lamp. I was quite successful and found it all!
We have been so busy having fun and working on Diego's room that I forgt to post anything for days... Oops.
We bought all the fabric for his quilt and have been working on his hand made mobile for the last two days. We also were painting canvases for his wall art. We have been busy!
Hopefully before GiJu leaves we will be all done with the nursery.
Tomorrow is going to be really hot and we are planning to just have fun and go to the beach :)

GiJu is coming!

Tomorrow GiJu arrives! Callie is so excited. We have been talking about it for a month and yet she couldn't comprehend the timeframe until today when I said tomorrow she will be here. If you ask her who is coming tomorrow she will excitedly shout GiJu!!! She also keeps saying PaPa no Rooo Spike because we told her PaPa couldn't come because he stayed home to take care of the dogs. She usually makes a dramatic sad face when she says this.
Tonight on the way home as she is tired and falling asleep she was talking to herself... GiJu coming GiJu plane plane GiJu morrow. It was so cute. Boy will she be thrilled when she gets here.

The stickers continue

Callie for some reason this week is so focused on putting stickers on people. Today she covered my feet with Sesame Street stickers and then covered my bare belly so Diego had some too. I only took photos of my feet and my bowling ball bare stomach isn't something I want to post for you all.
Besides that she was extra lovey to me and Diego today. While we waited for our tax appt she sat only lap and gave me a nosey and a kiss. Diego got one too :) what a loving sister.

New Doc shirt

When I went to pick up Callie she was wearing a new Doc shirt. She was proud too.  MaMa bought you as Callie would say. Grandma bought her a new shirt and as soon as she saw it she needed to wear it so Grandma quickly washed it for her. She didn't want to take her shirt or her doc mcstuffins socks off tonight. I should have just left it on with her pajamas! I guess she really likes it, thanks Grandma!

Sticker time

Callie had a busy Sunday. She went to church for the first time for Tio Bogars last service at College Avenue Baptist Church. Callie tried her best to behave. She was pretty good considering she has never had to sit quietly for over an hour. I did take her outside for a little but and to the kids room as well but she still sat for awhile. Her favorite part was the songs. She pretended to sing along with doot doot doo and was swaying side to side. It was a nice morning with all or family together for this service.
It was a hot day and in the afternoon we played in the kiddie pool on the deck and let Callie be naked most of the afternoon since it was so hot. She decided that she should cover herself in stickers which was pretty funny. We made a nice dinner and to too it off went out for frozen yogurt before bed. She is still talking and playing in her bed as I don't think she understands this daylight savings time thing. She will learn to adjust I am sure.
What a nice Sunday... To bad tomorrow is Monday and back to work.
