Work and sushi

when daddy has to work on a Saturday the fun thing to do is visit and go out for sushi! They love the office... whiteboards, stapler, and cardboard box forts. Tell Santa we don't need any toys ;)

Giving back

A big THANK YOU shout out to Chula Vista North Walmart who donated 5 tents to our charitable giving event with Urban Refuge coming up on Dec 3rd

This is the charity we have chosen for our annual giving event with the Gladue/Sargent Lamprey/Chavez family. It's local to our neighborhood and something Callie can participate in. We will be going to the event on Dec 3rd, cooking a turkey and bringing lots of donations. It feels good to give back and to teach my littles it's not all about them.

Firefighter storytime

yet another firefighter story time in the books. They are so awesome they do something different every time. Today they used the jaws of life to crush lemons and also brought their heat gun they use to find people in smoky houses. Diego was way into it this time and sat still right up front for story time through 3 full books!

Callie does a zipper

Callie learned to do a zipper without me ever showing her how. She just did it out of nowhere and when I asked her where she learned that she said I watched you do it. Hmm touché child that's very impressive!

Construction helpers

somehow I missed this gen of a photo when telling you about the new sink. Diego and Callie came out of the playroom with all their tools and tool belts on to "help". They were awfully cute even if they were more of a hinderance than a help!
