Ari's Quinceañera

Yesterday we attended cousin Ari's Quinceañera. Wow! What a party this was. It was beautiful with purple and white and sparkles galore. It looked like a fancy wedding. Ari was beautiful and a perfect lady. She is such a special girl, wise beyond her age, caring and sweet. I can only hope Callie is like Ari when she is 15, but all I could think while I was there was I don't want Callie to grow up and be 15. Callie had the best time at the party and was the life of the dance floor. She danced for hours and hours. She was so busy dancing she didn't even participate in the henna tattoos, photo booth, ice cream bar, candy buffet (well one gummy worm was all I allowed), and s'mores station. Diego was tired and slept in the baby carrier for most of the party. He even was on the crowded and loud dance floor with me and never even flinched. We stayed really late until after 9 pm as the kids were behaving and having a great time. Callie had all her family around and was just so happy. She danced with Ari and her friends and was the life of the party. Happy Birthday Ari! We had a fabulous time and one we will always remember. These photos don't even do it justice.
