The kids and Juan survived without me. I had a great time with Jeana just chatting, shopping, relaxing and getting some me time. We had massages, ate out, watched movies in bed, and my favorite thing... Slept! I slept from 9:30 til 7 am!! No waking up for pumping even, although I probably should have. At 7 I woke up well rested and didn't even want to go back to sleep after pumping a whopping 17 ounces of milk. It's amazing what some uninterrupted sleep will do for you. Diego on the other hand didn't sleep well, didn't want his bottle and was exhausted when I got home. All he wanted was to nurse and sleep. The little guy missed me for sure. He went to sleep at 5 pm tonight! I thought it was just a nap but he decided it was bedtime and didn't want to wake up except to eat. Hopefully he isn't up at 3 am...
Callie spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa and helped decorate the trees for Christmas. How cute!
Thanks to Jeana for taking the time to relax and rejuvenate with me and thanks to Juan for holding down the fort at home with the two munchkins. It was a great vacation for me :)
